About the job

As a product specialist, you will work in the maritime and aviation department’s product area responsible for the development and management of the department’s IT solutions. You will work in an agile team with many different competencies, including other product specialists and developers.

The Maritime and Aviation Department has many exciting IT solutions that we already manage as well as new development assignments underway.

You will

• collect needs and prepare documentation for changes, efficiencies, and new developments of the business's IT solutions
• drive and implement management activities and development needs
• participate in requirements and testing work as support during, for example, preparation of new needs and during testing/verifying deliveries
• provide support during incidents and troubleshooting
• maintain and quality assure various types of documentation
• provide user support and, if necessary, conduct training for the business
• be part of one or more cross-functional teams that contribute to developing our methodology and working methods.

You must have

• at least 4 years of current experience working as a system administrator or similar for IT solutions
• good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you also have

• experience working in agile teams
• experience in requirements and/or test management.

The employment is permanent with placement in Norrköping.

We normally apply a probationary period. As an employee with us, there is an opportunity to work remotely up to three days a week. It is the business's needs and the nature of the tasks that determine whether and to what extent this is possible.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.

About the Transport Agency

Number of employees: About 2000.

Areas of operation: The Transport Agency works to achieve good accessibility, high quality, safe, and environmentally friendly transport within railways, aviation, shipping, and roads. We develop regulations, grant permits, and monitor compliance. With the help of our registers, we work with fees, permits, and ownership transfers.

Locations: We have employees in 12 locations across the country. The largest part of the operations is in Borlänge, Norrköping, and Örebro.

About the Maritime and Aviation Department

The Maritime and Aviation Department contributes to a competitive, environmentally friendly, and safe transport system. We do this by maintaining registers, designing regulations, testing and granting permits, and exercising supervision. We also operate in many contexts on the international arena.

We are located in Norrköping, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Stockholm and have approximately 300 employees organized into six units and a staff unit.
